Her Story:

My name is Lexi Summers, and I am a Commercial Lending Officer at Worthington National Bank in West Fort Worth. I love helping people achieve their dreams and it is a plus to see it happen in my own community. I am a transplant to Fort Worth and a West Texas girl by heart. I moved to Fort Worth shortly after graduating from Texas Tech University in December 2014. Wreck em!

I began my banking career in 2011 as a teller at a local bank in Lubbock. After graduating, I went on to their credit/lending program for a couple of months in Amarillo (my hometown). Once I was done with the program and back working in Lubbock, I quickly realized I needed to make a move far away from my comfort zone. I accepted a job in Lewisville not realizing there are a significant amount of more people in DFW compared to the Texas Panhandle. After being slightly miserable for a little over a year, I accepted a job with Worthington National Bank in February 2017. I have moved up the ladder at Worthington; I started as an analyst, trained my replacement, and went full force into an officer commercial lending role in 2020.

I knew one person when I moved to Fort Worth and have immersed myself in everything possible to make Fort Worth “Home”. I have been through some tough times that many can’t relate to and can honestly say they have shaped me into the strong, independent woman I am today. I love learning about people, their background, and their passions. I can’t wait to help many more Fort Worthians on their path to happiness and success!
